Mediacom are seeking a Business Science Analyst to join the thriving team. As our Analysts you will be responsible for data processing, driving analytics and supporting the team in client analysis and reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity to drive your l
earning in how to process data efficiently through the use of excel and programming languages. You will deepen your knowledge of analytics and specifically Market Mix Modelling and most importantly have exposure to clients and ensure the analysis makes an impact on their media strategy.

MediaCom Business Science is committed to building connections along clients’ business journey to ensure they can make the right decisions to optimise their business performance. We do this using a vast range of analytical techniques which are bespoke for each business question and client.

Our areas of expertise span market mix modelling, budget setting and allocation, forecasting, brand equity modelling, launch volumetric studies and conjoint to name but a few. Our primary focus is on getting insight out of data and analytics in order to provide recommendations for clients that are realistic, relevant and above all actionable. We are a team of 40 experts, working across more than 25 clients in the UK. We analyse over £600m of communications spend each year, covering 15% of UK media spend which means we are the leading experts in our field.

The core responsibilities of the Business Science Analyst will be:

  • Keep line manager up to date with project progress.
  • Responsible for data processing on own projects.
  • Support the team in client analysis
  • Drive Market Mix Modelling analytics
  • Supporting colleagues, wider teams and building relationships.
  • Provide basic guidance for Graduate Analysts in the team

What you will need:

  • Market Mix Modelling (Would be advantegous)
  • Basic knowledge of typical tools and techniques used in marketing analytics
  • Media and Marketing industry, preferential
  • Strong MS Office
  • Strong Eviews or other statistical software package
  • Basic knowledge of programming language preferential
  • Good presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Keen attention to detail, a questioning approach
  • Able to work under pressure
