Organisation Profile   
GroupM is the parent company to WPP’s media agencies including MindShare, EssenceMediacom, Wavemaker, Xaxis and Keyade.  Our primary purpose is to maximize the performance of the agencies on behalf of our clients, our shareholders, and our people by operating as a parent and collaborator in performance-enhancing activities such as trading, content creation, sports, digital, finance, talent, proprietary tool development and other business-critical capabilities. The agencies that comprise GroupM are all global operations with leading market positions.   
    
Shared Services Centre (SSC)   
GroupM MENA have decided in 2018 to establish an independent Unit to create a centre of excellence. The Unit has clearly defined objectives, and procedures. It is independent from the agencies and report directly to GroupM MENA. The initial areas that SSC will be responsible for are Accounting, Purchase Ledger, Treasury, Taxes, Media Operations, Billings, Credit Control, Payroll, Statutory Reporting, Compliancy, later WPP has decided to offshore the Finance Hub to Finance Plus India, the SSC global arm of WPP and all functions are now offshored to India except for the media operations function.   
    

We are looking for a Programmatic Executive at GroupM MENA, based in Beirut. You will play a key role in the operations team and report to the Programmatic Campaign Manager in the. You will be highly involved in operation and optimization of programmatic buying, and work closely with other digital
functions at GroupM as well as agencies, clients, publisher vendors and tech vendors.

Measures of success
In three months: 

  • Have a basic understanding of the local digital media landscape and key publishers/partners.
  • DSP certified
  • Understand all media concepts, tools and methodologies that are used in the PBU.

In six months: 

  • Be able to lead and manage multiple programmatic campaigns independently and deliver good outcomes.
  • Play a key role to coordinate and participate in specific projects.

In 12 months: 

  • Has an in-depth knowledge towards MENA programmatic/ad-tech environment.
  • Be able to initiate and propose better project approach that demonstrates more value to the client

Responsibilities of the role: 

  • Work with the programmatic consultants to support in programmatic planning, data analytics, insight learning and post-buy reports of PBU’s campaigns.
  • Work with DSP vendors, 3rd party tracking/data companies and other external stakeholders to ensure the success of PBU’s campaigns.
  • Hands on in setting up, operating and optimizing various types of programmatic campaigns (display, video, mobile, app)
  • Cooperate with agencies, publishers, vendors and other PBU members to work on the end to end programmatic process.
  • Analyze campaign data, develop insights and strategies for campaign optimization.

What you will need: 

  • Bachelors or higher degree (business, marketing, advertising, communication or a related field preferred but not mandatory)
  • Has a good working ethics as well as professional integrity, and be passionate towards digital/programmatic industry.
  • Excellent knowledge and skills of Microsoft suites: Excel, Powerpoint and etc.
  • Comfortable with numbers; Good understanding of maths.
  • Understanding of ad tracking, web analytics, ad serving, DMP is a strong plus.
  • Fluency in speaking and writing Arabic is a plus.
