[M]PLATFORM is one of the core units within GroupM. It represents an advanced technology suite of flexible media planning applications, data analytics and digital services. The platform will improve advertisers’ ability to use audience-defining insights from hundreds of data sources to find and communicate with their consumers across all media.  

[M]PLATFORM makes it possible for data strategists and media planners at GroupM agencies to use the most detailed consumer data to achieve results for their clients. It is supported by a team of data scientists, technologists and digital practitioners from across GroupM.  [M]PLATFORM brings together data analytics and digital services including search, social, mobile, digital ad operations and programmatic into one team to deliver a completely open and fully transparent data and technology architecture.

The Solutions Consultants primary objective will be to collaborate with our agencies and the wider [M]Platform team to translate client and agency requirements into a solution which maximises the benefit of using [M]INSIGHTS. You will work on the roll-out of [M]INSIGHTS and be a key player to ensure its success.


[M]INSIGHTS is GroupM’s leading audience discovery and consumer intelligence technology.  It collates billions of data points from diverse sources to provide a unique and single view of the consumer.  Powerful functionality allows users to identify, amplify and activate audiences in real-time across 45 million people in the UK.


As the Solutions Consultant you will develop a comprehensive understanding of agency/client requirements to design solutions that maximise the value we create for audience insight amplification and activation strategies. You will also support agencies during new business pitches as well as supporting existing agency clients. Where necessary you will provide training and drive best practice to ensure our solution is sold as the very best solution for our clients!




The Solutions Consultant must have a combination of media expertise, data expertise and tech savviness, and must be able to articulate complex concepts simply and concisely to lay-person stakeholders. You will be in a client facing role and therefore it is essential that you will  be comfortable in presenting to agencies and clients alike. You’ll need to have a good understanding of data architecture/data structures, tag management and understanding of campaign optimisation practices and variables.

You must be passionate about data and be someone who can get under the skin of it and explain the outcomes of your findings clearly!
