The team & the role

We are the MediaCom International search & biddable team, consisting of approx. 45 people, working on a mix of blue chip clients including:  Shell, American Airlines, Brand USA, GSK, Sony & Bose. 

We are looking for the new Executive to come and join the growing Royal Canin paid search team based in London.

 

The Client

It’s a role within the pet food industry, with a global remit; the team is in charge for the central execution of all campaigns across the active markets and will work closely with the other MediaCom offices across the world to incorporate local insights


Day to Day responsibilities

Search account monitoring to track performance vs set KPIs
Search optimisation (working on daily changes to improve campaigns performance based on live user data from Google/search engines)
Package Search reporting & insights for client calls and meetings

  1. It sits within a great team; with 5 other team members from international backgrounds currently servicing COTY, Allianz, and Sky.
  2. It’s a role within the pet industry, with a global remit, offering the opportunity to work on one of the leading health nutrition specialists for cats & dogs.
  3. It’s data-driven and analytical, meaning it will suit someone who loves analysing numbers and working with large data sets
  4. It has ample scope to be proactive, because we love entrepreneurial people who bring us their own ideas
It’s busy but it’s a lot of fun too; we work hard, but we also don’t forget to enjoy a coffee run together

The candidate

 

The ideal search & biddable executive will:

  • Have a basic understanding of digital marketing principles, specifically of paid search
  • Be numerate and analytical, as well as administratively competent with strong attention to detail
  • Have a winning mentality, striving to exceed expectations
  • Have excellent written & verbal English language skills/grammar

 

In return, MediaCom will offer the candidate the opportunity to:

  • Learn paid search & digital principles with line manager & rest of the team
  • Be trained in additional areas: hard skills (AdWords, Marin, DoubleClick, Excel, etc.) as well as soft skills (how to communicate with clients, improving presentation style and storytelling, etc.)
  • Increase their knowledge base on the pet nutrition vertical
