We are the MediaCom International search & biddable team, consisting of approx. 45 people, working on a mix of blue chip clients including:  Shell, American Airlines, Brand USA, GSK, Sony & Bose. 

 

We are looking for the new Senior Planner to come and join the growing Sony PlayStation paid search team based in London.

 

Key highlights of this role, the team and the client:

1.       It sits within a great team; with 5 other team members from international backgrounds currently servicing PlayStation

2.       It’s a role within the gaming industry, with a global remit, offering the opportunity to work on one of the world’s largest gaming company

3.       It’s data-driven and analytical, meaning it will suit someone who loves analysing numbers and working with large data sets

4.       It has ample scope to be proactive, because we love entrepreneurial people who bring us their own ideas

5.       It’s busy but it’s a lot of fun too; we work hard, but we also don’t forget to enjoy a coffee run together or an evening at the pub

The candidate

 

The ideal search & biddable Senior Planner will:

·         Have an advanced understanding of paid search, and a basic understanding of other digital marketing principles

·         Be numerate and analytical, as well as administratively competent with strong attention to detail

·         Be confident with clients

·         Be efficient with their time and effective with their output

·         Be ready to teach pad search techniques to junior members of the team

·         Have a winning mentality, striving to exceed expectations

·         Have excellent written & verbal English language skills/grammar

 

In return, MediaCom will offer the candidate the opportunity to:

·         Learn advanced paid search techniques, innovation, and automation, as well as other digital principles with line manager & rest of the team

·         Be trained in additional areas: hard skills (AdWords, Marin, Doubleclick, Excel, etc.) as well as soft skills (how to communicate with clients, improving presentation style and storytelling, etc.)

·         Increase their knowledge base on the gaming vertical

·         Although this role doesn’t have any direct reports, the Senior Planner will be able to start delegating some tasks and teach/mentor junior team members
