MediaCom requires a highly motivated and experienced Technical SEO Manager to join our award winning and rapidly growing SEO team. Responsibilities for the role

  • Manage day to day implementation and technical SEO activities for international clients, and writing technical documents for the client and support junior members with briefs regarding:
    • keyword research
    • on-page optimisation advice
    • technical audits
    • competitor analysis
    • reporting
    • link management activities
    • support new business.
  • End to end ownership of technical SEO projects, where you are comfortable dealing with many internal and external stakeholders. You must make your voice heard throughout the noise.
  • Provide clear and actionable answers to technical client queries.
  • Track, monitor and create client reports using Google Analytics and other tools
  • Oversee the performance of all SEO campaigns and ensure that key insights are incorporated into future activity (monitor and report KPIs and technical issues across all client’s websites)
  • Train SEO executives and planners to a good standard so that they can perform baseline technical SEO tasks
  • Support other SEO Managers and Associate Directors in expanding client engagements
  • Create point of view documents on industry trends and updates; share findings with clients and the wider team


Role-specific requirements

  • At least 3 years of SEO experience preferably Agency-side, with a focus on auditing websites, prioritising changes, creating technical SEO documents and implementing on-page changes
  • Advanced Excel skills:  Know your way around a VLOOKUP and help others when they fail at it
  • Confident communicator, able to explain complex technical setups to non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with data, delivering monthly reports, able to see trends and produce actionable insights
  • Previous experience with SEO tools like Searchmetrics/Brightedge, Deepcrawl, Ahrefs, Advanced Web Ranking, web crawlers and various analytics packages (Google Analytics, Omniture is a plus)
  • Good understanding of web technologies like CMS platforms, web servers & website information architecture
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Degree level education in a technical field or relevant IT work experience is a plus (tech support or web development)
  • Ability to juggle several tasks at once and consistently deliver high-quality work to timescale
  • Flexible team player, willing to fill in the gaps and pick up tasks for others when required
  • Problem solver with a genuine can do” attitude
