We have two Media Planning Assistant positions at our office in Leeds, perfect for people looking to start a career in media. Leeds is one the fastest growing and friendly offices in the MediaCom network, located close to the station in the trendy south bank area of the city.

Business Responsibilities:

  • Build working knowledge of all media and new media opportunities across both on and offline channels
  • Enthusiasm to meet and begin building up a network of media owners relevant to your client’s business
  • Start to build knowledge of desktop research & planning tools (e.g. TGI, Telmar, AdDynamix, Google Analytics) and their role in the planning process, producing useful outputs for the team
  • Take an active lead in scoping out relevant market insight relevant to your clients
  • Be responsible for all weekly and monthly client performance reports including prompt delivery from investment teams, checking and sending to clients
  • Take responsibility for competitive report compilation and analysis
  • Support exec/manager in developing responses to brief, be an active participant in pulling together that response
  • Develop a good understanding of client strategy and be able to assess and contribute on executional ideas

People Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with Internal teams to understand opportunities, developing plans and innovative ideas
  • Build internal relationships with relevant Mediacom specialist departments to aid with your day to day tasks and increase your knowledge of specialist divisions and investment teams
  • Ensure you keep fully up to date on personal development tasks
  • Take your career management seriously, preparing for performance reviews and attending training planned for you, including pre work or lunchtime workshops and also department sessions
  • Share relevant news stories and keep an inquisitive mind for news or findings that may be interesting to your client base, always offering an opinion on why
