Objectives of the Role

As manager, you will be setting the delivery plan for this Systems Analytics team. You will be part of the wider Data and Analytics management team and will help to set the agenda and ensure all reasonable expectations are met for Peugeot, Citroen and DS as individual brands within an overall PSA portfolio.

The team needs to provide a range of support and calibrated planning tools (Systems Planner, Connections Simulator and Source of Growth) for our PSA teams. This will entail working closely with the local market teams across the network to gather data, train and support their delivery of the tools.


Responsibilities

• Manage day to day delivery of your team
• Quality assure the day to day outputs of your team
• Coach your team so they develop and have clarity on their goals and objectives
• Calibrate planning tools to the PSA business for use by local markets (SP, CoSi & SoG)
• Develop local team training plans in conjunction with global and local Connected Execution teams (goal for self-sufficiency)
• Ensure adoption and develop (audited) best practice application
• Propagate best practice examples within internal intranet
• Provide central expertise and local support for target audience definitions (mPlatform)
• Provide central expertise and local support for application of the KPI framework that all plans need to align against
• Engage with the appointed modelling team to ensure they get the best quality data for modelling and we get the most insightful reports back
• Help to interpret and ensure relevant application of modelling reports to the annual plan with quarterly updates
• Build body of effectiveness learnings for sharing (Best Practice cases, benchmarks and insights)
• Support local teams with application of effectiveness learnings
• Contribute to learning agenda to ensure innovation, and measurement, remains at the heart of everything we do
• Engage with wider MediaCom effectiveness community for NPD and learning agenda
• Help to upsell Business Science projects for bespoke client calibration

Knowledge

• A deep understanding of media metrics and the communications planning process
• An appreciation of systems planning and the dynamic nature of how media creates a range of business outcomes across the path to purchase e.g. Awareness, Engagement and Sales Conversion
• An ability to think about Strategic, Macro and Micro analytics to drive effectiveness at appropriate junctures
• An understanding of econometric modelling would be an advantage but practical skills are not necessary
