About the Investment Team

The MediaCom Investment Team sits at the heart of the agency and is responsible for investing our clients’ money in the right media channels, at the right time, targeting the right people.

As a specialist investment unit, we know how important it is to spend this money wisely and we have many bespoke tech and data systems to help us deliver on any client brief or objective, via our dedicated tech and data teams.

Our work centres around trading best-in-class deals across traditional media channels such as Audio Visual, Publishing, Out of Home and Cinema; while our digital team plan and execute award-winning campaigns on Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliate Marketing, Display and Programmatic. All of this is supported by our highly trained Ops teams who ensure we deliver operational excellence.

It is our role to ensure that every buy is as valuable as possible for any given client and that they are made in the context of our wider trading objectives.  We deliver to deals and audit guarantees, whilst never losing sight of the importance of neutral planning and delivering client.  It is a delicate balancing act which requires great commercial nuance and intelligent negotiation skills.


Objectives of the Role

The Operations Executive will be learning and developing their skills and knowledge through activation of Direct Digital and Print media. They will be responsible for accurately booking campaigns into internal finance systems and monitoring delivery in line with the client media plans; proactively flagging issues and delays.

The Executive should take initiative to learn about the media business and quickly grow their knowledge of end to end digital campaign activation: from tagging through to reporting and optimisation.

The Operations Executive will utilise strong communication skills to coordinate the activation of clients’ activity across internal and external Stakeholder groups such as Tech, Buyers, Finance, and Publishers.

The Executive will have the ability to adhere to and champion operational best practice to ensure accuracy from booking through to finance reconciliation every time.


  • Owning administrative business tasks including accurately booking media plans onto systems
  • Coordinating the execution of strategic client campaigns from booking to launch
  • Collaboration with Tech counterpart to ensure all plans are implemented efficiently and on time
  • Compiling daily/weekly/monthly reporting to client specification
  • Owning monthly financial reconciliation of Digital campaign activity
  • Proactively managing financial queries to resolution
  • Working collaboratively with Investment Team counterparts to find solutions
  • Support team morale and workload balancing
  • Building positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications and other relevant information: 

  • We are looking for someone that has studied either an analytical, business or project management related subject
  • Excellent track-record of achievement (academic, commercial, personal)
  • Proven competency in data and Microsoft Excel
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and solutions focused mind set
