We are one of the world’s largest media agency networks working for some of the world’s smartest advertisers.  The Insight team works across all MediaCom North Group offices to provide a deep understanding of the way consumers behave, thus shaping the very nature of what we do. 

 Our Insight Teams objectives are simple:  to be the voice of the consumer in comms planning.  This comes from an understanding of people’s attitudes and motivations in all areas from politics and the economy to markets, brands and media channels.

We have a new opportunity to join our Insight team as our Senior Insight Exec.  You will be an out-going Insight or Research specialist with a passion for understanding consumers and what makes them tick. You will have some experience in running qualitative and quantitative research projects.  Whilst  there is a benefit of having experience within Media, this is not essential as we love and value a fresh perspective!

Role Responsibilities

  • To collaborate with the internal departments to fulfil the Systems Led Planning process. This involves using a variety of methodologies and sources (e.g. MediaCom sources like Real World Britain and other industry sources) to understand the consumer context, how they navigate markets and their relationship with brands. 
  • To identify target audiences and build personas around them. 
  • To work with the team to design and execute larger-scale pro-active projects of benefit to a number of clients
  • To commission tailor-made research
  • To interrogate broader cultural and media trends and their impact on consumers
  • To be client-facing when required e.g. building relationship with client Insight Departments and presenting directly to clients
