The Account Manager role has ownership and responsibility for set Xaxis clients, looking to achieve operational excellence and achieve revenue growth across them. They must develop an in-depth understanding of their clients – objectives, decision makers, relevant products, outcome based I&A, competitors (both clients and ours), alongside impeccable client service and commercial nous. The AM is responsible for bringing together other Xaxis business units such as optimization, I&A and product to achieve the client/campaign goals. The role therefore requires a high level of proactivity, communication and collaboration skills.

The focus is to ensure that campaigns are planned, go live, delivered and correctly reported on, whilst maximizing commercial gain. The role requires a mix of skills including – analytical, presentation, ability to analyse and understand of data, campaigns optimisation, research and analytics, and strong storytelling skills. It's also important to understand the Xaxis competitors, the wider media mix, and have knowledge and opinions on the latest market developments. 

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Long term budget planning with agency client teams
  • Work with agency and relevant internal teams to up-sell, cross-sell and secure re-bookings
  • Request / chase RFP’s from agency buyers on existing clients
  • Respond to briefs with strategic vision to justify use of Xaxis products and with the support of relevant internal teams
  • Provide a plan to satisfy RFP by use historical results & insight reports as well as Xaxis product selection and audience planning
  • Liaise with and project manage internal Xaxis business units to meet campaign/client KPIs
  • Monitor Xaxis commercial success on each campaign
    • Responsible and accountable for monitoring performance KPIs ensuring that action is taken in the event of under-performance
    • With the support of the SAM and Engagement Manager foster good working relationships with agency teams & manage their expectations
    • Ensure agencies receive a high level of client service
    • Deliver reports to agencies with insightful commentary and analysis on a regular basis
    • Troubleshoot issues with agency and internal teams
  • Build strong relationships with key agency planners and buyers
