MediaCom S&E is the specialist division of MediaCom Worldwide providing full service sponsorship and rights consultancy.


MediaCom S &E’s offering is built on 4 key pillars:

MediaCom Sport work closely with each department but are closely aligned with MediaCom’s content division, MediaCom Beyond Advertising.


The Role Objective


  • Lead delivery of client work
  • Responsibility for management of various team members, work streams, income projections and client relationships from a UK and International perspective internally and externally
  • Lead development and implementation of operational processes
  • Work across internal and external clients, within WPP and beyond, to drive new business revenue
  • Contribute to strategic direction of the business as it relates to product, client growth, and team development


Required experience


  • Experience in creating, managing and delivering sport and entertainment partnerships
  • Thorough understanding of the competitive agency landscape and key trends shaping the industry
  • Must have significant experience operating in a complex multi-stakeholder environment
  • Solid track record of building and managing high performing teams
  • Track record of developing and growing client relationships in respect to services and revenue
  • Experience in development and packaging of services to reflect evolving client needs and agency revenue targets
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail


Business and personal development


  • Build close relationships with each of the departments and senior level personnel within MediaCom and broader WPP network
  • Have a clear understanding of the various specialist divisions and how they can fit into your day to day role
  • Become a go to person for Sport & Entertainment related questions
  • Take ownership of selected client teams and become the point person during; planning phase, briefing, ideation & delivery of work
  • Work with Heads of Disciplines to integrate sponsorship into the agency’s operation
  • Build on commercial acumen with rights holders and media owners
