MediaCom Investment is focused on driving commerciality and delivering best in class execution across all channels. This role sits within the Print and Digital Operations function of Investment, working across multiple different accounts. 

 An Operations Specialist understands the importance of delivering Operational excellence from booking to billing. They will have strong organisational skills, working closely with our Digital Investment and Tech teams to successfully activate digital and Print campaigns. They will have the ability to forge strong media owner relationships, have excellent communication skills and the ability to accurately implement campaigns to deadline.

 A successful Operations Specialist can efficiently handle the day to day running of their campaigns, liaising with their manager to problem solve and ensure deadlines are met. In doing so, they will develop trusted relationships with their colleagues in other MediaCom departments and with the client’s media team.

Measures of success –

In three months, you would have:

  • Developed strong working relationships internally within Investment, Planning, Connect and Tech.
  • Mastered administrative business tasks – Accurately booking media plans and reconciling to actuals
  • Been delivering brilliant basics in digital activation and financial rigour

In six months, you would have:

  • Built strong relationships with media owners, troubleshooting technical and booking issues to hit go live dates
  • Built knowledge of client specific end to end trafficking process
  • Mastered monthly finance processes and resolution of finance queries

In 12 months, you would have:

  • Built strong relationships with your client team and started to gain their trust in your expertise.
  • Coordinated the execution of multiple client campaigns from booking to Go Live
  • Developed a good understanding of the display, programmatic and Print landscape

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Coordinating the execution of client campaigns from booking to Go Live
  • Owning administrative business tasks – Accurately booking media plans onto MediaCom internal booking systems
  • Liaising with Media Owners and Tech to troubleshoot issues and ensure campaign set up is in line with implementational response
  • Compiling daily/weekly/monthly reporting to client specification
  • Owning monthly finance reconciliation processes and proactively managing finance queries to resolution
  • Input into system/tool/workflow review and improvements to meet clients business needs
  • Meetings and conference calls with Media Owners, Tech and Client
  • Building positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Working collaboratively to find solutions


What you will need:

The ideal candidate will be solutions focused, proactive and willing to get stuck in, in order to deliver efficient campaign activation. They will have a good knowledge of Ad Ops digital market, whether from agency or publisher background, as well as the ability to communicate effectively to build excellent relationships

  • Interest and enthusiasm for the automotive sector
  • Previous work experience in an Ad Ops, Analytic or PJM role
  • Basic multi-media understanding
  • Knowledge of measurement tools and ad servers (e.g. Nielsen, DCM)
  • Proven competency in data and Microsoft Excel
  • Problem solving and solutions focused mind set
  • Good communicator
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Aptitude to learn new systems/tools/processes
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving and process
  • Ability to juggle multiple campaigns at one time, ensuring activity is running smoothly
  • Excellent numeracy skills
