Position at Wavemaker

The key responsibilities include delivering Wavemaker Commerce strategy consulting projects to all our multi-market clients. This role is fast-paced, with immense growth opportunities in a part of the business that is rapidly evolving – the successful candidate will get exposure to C-level stakeholders internally and at our key clients, and be expected to meaningfully contribute to developing consumer-centric strategies for modern retail from the get go. The role is truly global in nature and being able to work in distributed teams key and will give the candidate exposure to a truly global business.

Objectives of the Role

  • Support delivery of ecommerce projects across clients in FMCG, luxury, healthcare and personal electronics
  • Help with documentation and research on individual markets and industries
  • Project management on our key client initiatives, keeping all stakeholders informed as necessary
  • Help deliver digital strategy into actions for individual clients and markets
  • Work with Client Solutions offices and other Wavemaker Commerce leads across the global on best practice sharing

Key Deliverables

  • Collate reports and research on ecommerce trends and developments
  • Support on consulting briefs including research, client audits, technology audits
  • Digital delivery on key clients – plan development, activation and market support across Pfizer, IKEA, Tiffany & Co. and Colgate-Palmolive

 Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Time management and ability to prioritise and deliver work across a dual role
  • Manage relationships with remote teams
  • Good knowledge of ecommerce and retail
  • Ability to develop a POV on technical and sectoral issues
  • Comfortable with data and analytics
  • Operational experience in ecommerce strongly preferred

Technical Skills

  • Strong MS Office skills, with a focus on PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with analytics and data reporting tools preferred
  • Photoshop and creative platforms experience a plus
