About the role:

We have an exciting new opportunity to join the Operations team in the Programmatic Buying Unit, a specialist disclosed model programmatic model, here at GroupM. As Senior Optimisation Manager, you will deputise for and assist the Head of Optimisation as required as well as undertaking operational duties and optimisation tasks to deliver stand out results for our clients on programmatic campaigns.

Managerial and team development responsibilities will form an important element of the job however it is still very much a hands-on role and you will be expected to motivate others by example. You will be responsible for faultless campaign set up and ‘go live’ QA in multiple DSPs. You will monitor campaign performance including pulling reports, synthesising and analysing them whilst making changes to the AppNexus setup to remove underperforming targeting options and expanding those that perform well in an environment with infinite targeting combinations available.


What we’re looking for:

Ideally you’ll be an individual of one of a new breed of data-driven optimisation specialist with significant experience in hands-on DSP trading (data driven decision making and execution) in the online display space.

The role also includes some ad operations tasks as necessary, however there are other roles within the team more focussed on this. Experience of AppNexus is highly advantageous although not essential. You will be a strong team leader and ideally have previous experience mentoring and nurturing junior talent.
