The Analytics Senior Manager is a mid-level role in the Analytics team, part of the UK Analytics and Insight department.

The Analytics team has a bold ambition to help prepare our clients and agency for the future.

This role is specifically seeking a thought leader and a passionate candidate who can help to deliver the best analytics products in the market. In concert with a range of other talent across the department and agency, the candidate will be integral to delivering a first-class suite of analytics products, whilst directly managing a team of analysts. In doing so the candidate will meet and exceed our client’s needs, build strong client and vendor relationships, win awards and develop our people.

About the Role

The successful candidate will service clients through the expert understanding of digital analytics, helping to demystify analytical problems into clear action plans. The Analytics Senior Manager will manage the team both directly and indirectly, responsible for deploying new reporting strategies when required and ensuring a gold standard of analysis is conducted at all times.

The candidate will be experienced in the field of analytics and is ready to leap into a senior managers role. You will manage two direct reports, with the wider responsibility of the output of a team of 7 analysts. You will have strong relationship building skills, whilst being passionate about managing individuals and driving a team forward. You will be a key day-to-day and first point of contact for senior internal MEC client teams regarding digital analytics, whilst using your experience in the analytics field to support and advise the digital division on KPI usage and measurement methodologies

Candidate Profile

Essential Skills
• Demonstrate advanced capability with MS Excel and Data Manager/Visualisation software such as Tableau
• Proven understanding of ad technology and the strengths and weaknesses of current industry approaches to measurement
• Driving the Analytics team continue to produce campaign performance reports for both internal and external clients at the very highest standard
• Proven experience in delivering analytical reports and solutions to internal and external clients
• A solid understanding of digital media attribution modelling
• A desire to manage and drive a team of individuals forward within the analytics function and within the context of their careers
• A strong commercial understanding with a proven ability to package up offerings and present these to internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, explain complex issues to non-technical users and the ability to work with senior internal and external stakeholders

Beneficial Skills
• You have an understanding of coding languages such as VBA or SQL
• Product development or idea generation experience
• Experience interfacing with a Business Intelligence team
• Project managing, tool or product development experience
• Experience at a media agency, online publisher or marketing department
