The Senior Data Scientist will be an important part of the Xaxis’ EMEA Analytics and Insight team. You will get the opportunity to work on a range of machine learning challenges across a wide variety of clients, across 20+ markets in our EMEA region. Your advanced predictive models will ensure Xaxis’ digital advertising products will provide the most effective and efficient business outcomes, and also provide fresh insights to our clients on which factors are most important for performing advertising. To generate these predictions you will get an opportunity to work with our real-time big data and the latest ideas in data science techniques.

We are looking for someone who can work effectively independently, and collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external teams, including analytics and data science teams, advertising campaign teams, technology teams and client services teams. The ideal candidate will enjoy working on complex problems, large datasets and turn these into smart and elegant solutions.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional growth, working with leading digital media data to ‘push the boundaries’ of how Xaxis uses data to deliver insight to inform advertising decisions of Xaxis teams, and the leading brands we work with.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about data and ideally you will come from a computer science, mathematics or some other quantitative field. You must be proficient in R or Python and have applied machine learning techniques to big datasets using one of more of the machine learning libraries. Ideally you will also have working knowledge of Amazon Web Services for big data processing and machine learning. You will have curious nature who loves exploring data and is a self-starter who can solve complex problems with minimal supervision. As a senior member of the team you will also be responsible for mentoring more junior team members.
