This is an opportunity to grow and establish a new team within WM Content, the content marketing division within MEC Manchester. Building out the capability to deliver class leading campaigns through data driven solutions and agency integration. In this role your will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying the ideal talent for brands to work with and how to harness their influence to drive business goals.

Influencer Management

  • Liaise with content planning and campaign strategists to plan and execute new ideas and strategies
  • Use proprietary MEC tools and processes to unlock data and insight to inform campaigns
  • Grow and maintain a large roster of talent by building up contacts and strong working relationships
  • Research content ideas and lead creative brainstorming sessions required to push boundaries
  • Lead all project management and be responsible for influencer delivery
  • Confidently demonstrate the value that can achieved through influencer projects and prove ROI to clients 

  • Take ownership and responsibility for all digital Influencer management campaigns
  • Lead a talented team to ensure client objectives are met to the highest standard
  • Mentoring and training the team to develop and improve their skills
  • Inspire direct reports to reach objectives and unlock their full potential to thrive 
Client Servicing

  • Lead the development and implementation of Influencer management strategies to deliver against client objectives
  • Report on campaign performance to senior client stakeholders
  • Establish close working relationships with client teams required to activate projects
  • Inspire clients to invest in more innovative, forward thinking campaigns 
New Business & Growth

  • Drive the long term growth and strategy for influencer and talent management at MEC
  • Identify new areas and opportunities to explore within influencer management and content marketing
  • Work with the new business team to highlight opportunities to upsell and grow revenue
  • Champion the department through thought-leadership and shouting about positive results 
Required Experience

  • Entrepreneurial and pro-active with a determination to deliver work to the highest standards
  • Obsessive tracking of the latest industry trends to spot new opportunities for influencer management
  • The confidence to throw out the rule book and develop unique strategies
  • A passion for Influencer management and a proven track-record in delivering successful projects for large brands
  • Experience in managing and leading a successful team with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • A degree to 2/1 standard or higher and experience writing engaging content is desirable
  • A keen eye for detail required to deliver work to the highest standard
