About the team


The global/EMEA new business & marketing team is integral to the growth of our business. As such, it is fast paced, challenging and offers people the chance to experience all facets of MediaCom. Integrating with a cross section of divisions and markets and working with people at all levels means that we have an in-depth knowledge of how we can utilise our expertise in marketing ourselves and raising our profile.


It is our responsibility to manage the multi-market new business process effectively, to market MediaCom to clients, prospects, journalists and the wider industry. It is our role to promote MediaCom as the thought leader in the media industry.


It is also incumbent on us to champion new business excellence through all EMEA markets.



Objectives of the Role: 



  • To foster an enthusiastic, motivated team spirit within the central and wider new business team at MediaCom.


  • To play a key role in ensuring MediaCom meets its global (no1 in Recma) and EMEA ($1b New Business targets.


  • Project management and coordination of EMEA new business pitches, support for key local opportunities


  • Play a key role in creating and executing MediaCom’s EMEA marketing plan that will build positive awareness and image of MediaCom across Europe and attract new business prospects.


  • To play an instrumental part in making our new business & marketing team the best in EMEA.



Business Responsibilities:


New Business


  • EMEA new business pitch coordination (RFI, pre-pitch & pitch) & project management
  • Management of agency credentials
  • Assist in co-ordinating Global pitches if necessary
  • Follow and enhance the new business process, WIN!
  • Ability to help pitch teams tell and communicate their story clearly & effectively
  • Ability to put together teams to work on pitches
  • Development of market leading support/marketing collateral to support our pitches




  • Take part in MediaCom EMEA marketing material development, working closely with global marketing to ensure better integration of the marketing and new business process.


People Responsibilities:


  • The role requires close integration with senior management across markets
  • Close collaboration and team work with the global marketing team to ensure we utilise all available material relevant to new business and marketing activity
  • Close collaboration with the entire New Business team to ensure effective use of available resources
  • Close collaboration with MediaCom market teams to ensure new business pitches operate effectively
