Ad Operations Trafficker

The Ad Operations supports all day-to-day operations for assigned accounts, aiding campaign planning, scheduling, implementation and tracking and ensure proper delivery of ad campaigns. The Ad Ops Trafficker is responsible for helping provide ad operations, tagging and technical recommendations internally. 


  • Responsible for learning and keeping up to date with the latest in trafficking and media industry trends
  • Act as liaison with media, creative agencies and publisher sites regarding planning, tracking, scheduling and delivery of campaigns
  • Serve as a point of contact between ad server and internal business units
  • Screen incoming creative according to adserver specs and technical requirements documentation
  • Help create process document for all parties in coordination with the Ad Ops Specialist and make sure all parties are in check
  • Implementation of 3rd parties technology;
  • Coordinate the scheduling, production and implementation of online advertising campaigns
  • Coordinate the rotation of ads
  • Troubleshooting
  • Deliver banners with rotation updates to sites
  • Delivery follow-up; channelling site questions to the appropriate people within the agency
  • Thorough communication of advertising instructions between the Agency and Web sites
  • Execute creation of HTML tags for adservers using DCM, Sizmek, Flashtalking  etc.

Experience required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload
  • Sense of procedure within a corporate environment
  • Strong people skills
  • Understanding of Internet technologies
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Strong working knowledge of web technologies including HTML, Javascript and Flash
  • Knowledge of the process of trafficking
  • Previous experience in a Trafficking role (6 months)
