Job Title:                      Senior Account Executive – Performance

Reporting to:                 Account Manager - Performance

Role context:

This role encompasses more than most Senior Account Executive roles out there, with planning and activation across multiple clients, markets and a strong focus on performance. Performance media encompasses paid search, paid social (Facebook/ Twitter/ LinkedIn) and lead gen activity.

We are looking for someone who is ambitious and driven, willing to get stuck in straight away to all elements of the team. Someone who has an established background in performance media, including paid search and social, but is looking to broaden their skillset working in an end to end team who looks after planning, and activation across all channel, not only performance.

As a B2B specific team, we look after all of the B2B clients across WM, from finance, to tech, to automotive, to telecoms. Another big part of this role includes the marketing of our division itself, being relatively new, and working on new business prospects.

The SAE core role will be supporting the Account Manager and Account Director and will work with an AE and account apprentice, overseen by our head of WM Business.

Client servicing will be in a supporting role, with greater remit on owned account/campaigns.

Knowledge and skills development will still be a focus and you will be expected to provide guidance to the other Executives within the team

Core Responsibilities:

  • Client servicing: frequent contacts via phone, emails and in person, for day to day activities and client support.
  • Building of bespoke PPC, social and lead generation campaigns, including: campaign structures, keywords, ads, ad extensions, tracking implementation, audience research and implementation.
  • Management of existing PPC, Social and lead gen Campaigns with best practice application, with: budget tracking, bid optimisation, testing, account expansions, financial reconciliation, implementation of process to improve efficiency.
  • Reporting: building and management of standard and ad hoc reports and analysis, post campaign analysis, support on monthly/quarterly reviews
  • Growth support: recommendations on optimisation actions, insights from current performance and the market
