About the partnerships team

Mindshare Partnerships is a fundamentally important part of Mindshare’s offering. We are central to Mindshare’s planning function and creating ideas and solutions which form the heart of our POE plans. Our team is growing and we are looking for people who are quick thinkers and adapt to change with a very can do attitude.

Our work encompasses everything from straight forward media partnerships through to talent associations, licensing deals and all forms of content production.

We work across all clients within the agency which include: Unilever, HSBC, Dyson, Amex, Nike, General Mills, Marks and Spencer, Fox, Volvo to name a few.

The role objective

The successful candidate will work as a senior member of the partnerships team.

The role will include:

  • Creating work that is award worthy
  • Fully exploiting the financial potential with your clients
  • Building internal relationships with planners/client leaders to initiate new projects
  • Inventing ideas with strategists and specialists
  • Collaborating with partners to create the best solutions which stretch across culture, media and tech
  • Efficient and effective delivery of campaigns, ensuring full client satisfaction
  • Creating and curating content which will become part of our clients’ assets
  • Amplifying the activity – working hand in hand with our planning and buying teams
  • Managing AE and AM development across all functions of the team

You will build strong relationships with your clients and act as a specialist advisor to them and their other agencies and partners to maximise their partnership opportunities. 


  • Build strong, effective relationships and a close rapport with clients and colleagues, acting as a trusted specialist advisor and maintaining relationships of respect
  • Building excellent media owner relationships and strong relationships with day-to-day contacts, representing the company and client in a professional manner
  • Continually looking for creative inspiration, within and outside of media, finding ways to include it in your own work and sharing with the rest of the team
  • Developing effective relationships with internal colleagues to ensure partnerships are used effectively within the overarching client plans
  • Helping to seek and develop new partnership solutions for clients both proactively and in answer to specific briefs
  • Developing a good understanding of all aspects of clients’ marketplace and business
  • Leading the Project Management of the delivery of partnerships and activation, often working in collaboration with a number of the client’s other agencies from approval of a deal to campaign completion and delivery of PCAs

Experience required

The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following:

  • An entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for what we do
  • Ability to forge strong and effective working relationships with clients, media owners, colleagues and other agencies
  • Experience of managing clients autonomously – engendering confidence and trust from clients
  • Excellence in project management and organisational skills with excellent written, verbal, analytical and numerical skills
  • Great presentation skills with the ability to present in a compelling way to clients
  • A proven ability of generating creative and effective integrated client solutions in the partnership space
  • Creative flair, great at idea generation with a desire to improve on what has gone before
  • Demonstrate excellent strategic thinking – to interpret client strategy and objectives into partnership strategy and activation
