Senior Content Strategist (Temporary Contract)
Description
Wavemaker is looking for a Senior Content Strategist (temporary contract) with a proven expertise in developing strategies and ideas driven by cultural insights, brand understanding, platform trends and languages.
The ideal candidate has a strong editorial mindset with a solid experience in a social, creative or digital agency, covering at least 7 years in a similar role.
We think that a “roll up my sleeves” mindset is crucial to succeed with this role, bringing together a significant range of disciplines you’ll need organization, proactivity and problem solving.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
· Lead and develop effective content strategies, connecting the dots across multiple touchpoints (from brand’s channels to earned media).
· Cross-functional collaboration, working closely with teams across the company, including analysis, creative, branded content, influencer marketing and media to facilitate a unified and consistent message.
· Present content strategies to clients, partners and internal multi-disciplinary agency teams in a compelling, and persuasive way to ensure understanding, buy-in and alignment;
· Work with the creative teams – challenge and inspire them to develop great ideas, also through different and emerging channels or trends can work to generate impact and results;
· Be the pivot from ideas generation to final implementation and measurement;
· Provide strategic input into new business, pitches and internal agency initiatives
What background we have in mind for this position:
· At least 7 years of experience in content strategy;
· Expert understanding of consumer attitudes, motivation and behaviour;
· Understanding of social trends and brand entertainment;
· Confidence with research & data
· Proactive attitude and innovative mindset;
· Ability to write effectively and creatively in Italian… but it is also required to have a very good English comprehension, listening and writing capabilities
