About the role:

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Media Team here at GroupM as a Technical Account Manager. The GroupM Media team sits within the interaction group and underpins the media needs of our programmatic buying businesses, including Xaxis and the PBU (Programmatic buying unit). The team has developed a significant volume of direct publisher relationships where we can acquire digital media at a quality, cost and preferred level of access that gives our buying businesses unique competitive advantage.

This role will deliver technical account management to our direct publisher partnerships in display; delivered across AppNexus. There are five core responsibilities for the role including;

  • Technical on-boarding of new publisher partners
  • Analytical input into daily monitoring and evaluation of our display media buys taking a multi-dimensional approach to optimisation of direct buys
  • Support display partnership and account management function in developing new partnerships that make considerations directly linked to the business and advertiser KPIs
  • Performing analysis and optimisation of media to improve performance for our buying businesses.

What we’re looking for:

Ideally you’ll have previous technical experience in a similar position with a strong knowledge of the programmatic landscape. You will be a naturally organised person with strong time management skills and the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
