A bit about us

We’re a young agency, only 6 years old with roots in digital and taking advantage of new technologies. Because of this, we’re a bit different from other agencies in the way we go about things, we’re all about leading into change for us and our clients. The clients we work with include some big brands from EE to Beats, BT Sport and L’Oreal.

We're a global company with all the opportunity that brings, yet we celebrate our individuality - it makes us more interesting, more creative and quite simply, the best at what we do.

You can find out more about what we think, the work we do and who we do it for on our website

So what is Launchpad?

A 9-month rotation scheme for those new to the industry, aimed to give you all the skills to be rising star within a top ten media agency. It’s not a grad scheme, so a university degree is optional.

The rotation includes:

  • Technology, Effectiveness & Data - Finding insights in data that will help create the most innovative and effective campaigns for clients. Bring a wide range of numbers and proofs together into a coherent argument.
  • Media Planning - Combing data and creativity to come up with the best strategy for reaching a client’s audience in all channels, then working through the solution with buyers to get it out in the world.
  • Media Buying

Taking the strategy and buying it on behalf of the client, trade every day to negotiate the best execution of the plans at the best possible price.

Don’t just take it from us

So far I have done 4 rotations, from digital (media buying) to planning, TED (technology, effectiveness, data) to Performance marketing. I’ve really enjoyed how fluid my rotations have been which has really helped to cement my understanding of how a media agency works. It has been an amazing opportunity to put into fruition a client brief, planning the communications and then implementing the campaign across different channels such as print, internet and social media. Justine, Class of ‘16

There’s been a number of highlights, but it would have to be meeting so many people that are all really interesting and make working at Maxus really fun. A personal highlight would be seeing the first insertion I booked in a newspaper, which was really satisfying. Sam, Class of ‘16

Planning was fantastic and I loved learning to develop a story through research and data in order to reach a creative solution which represents the brand’s values and meets the business objectives of the client. Digital was also brilliant. It was fast paced and I really enjoyed having the opportunity to see how different platforms and formats can serve a variety of campaign objectives and be able to put this knowledge into practice when responding to briefs was really rewarding. The rotation scheme is helping me to build a broad understanding of how the industry works as a whole and I’m looking forward to enhancing my knowledge further within my remaining rotations.  Jessica, Class of ‘16
