The Team

We are the Mediacom International search & biddable team, part of connected execution, servicing both centrally executed campaigns in multiple languages as well as coordinating and supporting strategic directions across markets.  We work on a mix of blue chip clients for both direct and brand led initiatives including but not limited to:  Proctor & Gamble, Shell, Allianz, Sony GSK & Bose. 

Our vision for search & biddable is the integral role it plays in the media mix and the connectivity between medias both on and offline with search acting as a key gateway.  A role in our team therefore allows you to advance your skill set as a subject expert but also exposes you to a much wider media business offering diversified training and development opportunities for a long term career path.  

We are looking for several managers Manager to come, join and lead on some of our major clients such as P&G, Coty and Sony PlayStation based in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the largest advertisers in the world and have the capacity to advance their Search Delivery but as well integrate it within their entire digital strategy. The Search hubs are fully integrated in a connected teams working across Paid Social, Programmatic, video and traditional display depending on the account. The Search team is in charge for the execution of all campaigns across the active markets and will work closely with the other MediaCom offices across the world.

You will be working on the delivery across 20+ markets within the Mediacom network and delivering to both local and central clients.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will need to be able to have a perfect understanding of the digital landscape to be able to leverage cross channel strategies and work really closely with our programmatic unit in order to ensure fully integrated campaigns. Finally, the Manager will need to dedicate some time to work on growing the current portfolio and involve themselves in pitches.

Our account managers are, together with the associate directors, the faces of our search & biddable team. Each of them is responsible for leading their team, leading their client’s search & biddable strategy, ensuring for their objectives to be successfully delivered and the business to grow.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Manager with a proven track record in Search, client handling, team management and relevant exposure across other digital channels and a strong interest in other channels such as SEO, Paid Social and programmatic.

General tasks:

·         Commercially minded, understanding the practical delivery of services in line with client objectives, service level agreements and terms of business.

·         Pro-actively investigate opportunities to improve our ways of working and bring new ideas to the client.

·         Responsible for all client interaction, and to ensure the success of the relationship.

·         Participate & lead client meetings: Strategy meetings, QBRs etc.

·         Ensure communications are tailored to the audience & requirements of the brief.

·         Keep clients up to date on top level campaign performance and issues.

·         Lead status meetings, ensure all meeting outcomes are reported & delivered against by team.

·         Shape & inform client strategy & client services.

·         Build a strong relationship with client teams and other channel leads in house to deliver a well-integrated execution.

·         Constantly feedback to wider Account team relating to client developments, opportunities and pressures.

·         Build & sustain professional and collaborative working relationships with clients.

·         Act as a representative of the Search department and MediaCom at all times. Build relationships throughout the company, identify opportunity for client growth.

·         Take your career management seriously, prepare for performance reviews and attend training.

·         Have an ability to be highly motivated, numerate and articulate, both when speaking to clients, writing documents and analysing results.

·         Increase knowledge within the Gaming & technology Industry

·         Represent the department and Mediacom at conferences and networking events, take up speaking opportunities and round table discussions.

·         Support Operations Director deciding on new hires, promotions, salary increases, bonuses etc.

·         Financial accuracy through the planning & buying process.

Search specific tasks:

·         Responsible for continued development of search accounts and other biddable media within their team – driving efficiencies, seeking opportunities for growth.

·         Create/ design search & biddable media strategy for client portfolio that complements the wider client strategy; set business objectives for each client & review campaign performance against these objectives.

·         Advanced understanding of search principles, how marketing campaigns work cross market, advanced analytic aptitude, view for the bigger picture of embedding search across channel and within the client’s vertical & pro-active suggestions for client growth across channel.

·         Development of complex understanding and integration of search & other biddable channels within the wider context of client business and media mix, to present to both internal and external stakeholders.

·         Responsibility for team, which includes ensuring delivery of Search campaigns against client objectives & management of the team’s priorities.

·         Liaise with client planners and gain advanced understanding of how other media can influence search; the principles of other online marketing channels and be able to discuss them in (client) meetings.

·         Advanced experience with bid management, analytics & competitive insights tools available in the market - when they should be used and their relative strengths and limitations.

·         Highlight great team work and client initiatives. Demonstrate examples of search & biddable best practice to team, contribute to department and wider agency PR and communications.

·         Proven track record of delivering search strategy & operations, managing individuals, and fostering strong client relationships.

·         Show initiative and pro-activity in growing the search and biddable accounts, increasing efficiencies and identifying new client opportunities.

People/ team responsibilities:

·         Analyse team’s needs and develop training & development plan accordingly.

·         Clear split of role & responsibilities, know team’s tasks & deliverables.

·         Train your team based on their level and identify their strengths & weaknesses for their further career development in areas such as:

o   Delivering accurate analysis of the Search campaigns

o   Delivering Search campaigns within fully integrated & measured campaigns across  & 20+ markets

o   Planning and forecasting of schedules.

o   Implementing testing into Search campaign.

o   Producing results and competitive analysis.

·         Actively support business development and participate in pitching process.

·         Support Head of Search & Biddable responding to RFIs and RFPs.
