Description

The Digital Associate Director is responsible for determining and leading the digital strategy on some of our largest and most active accounts. With the support of their digital team, the Digital Associate Director is primarily responsible for managing digital media strategy and implementation on assigned accounts and ensuring client satisfaction through service delivery and the agreeing and delivering on media objectives. Working with the Business Director and functional leads they require a strong digital understanding of all channels, understanding how digital fits into the overall client strategy

.Strategic Skills

  • Develop & deliver a data driven digital strategy across all client businesses and markets including investment guidelines and planning approaches for programmatic buying, social, search, video and mobile
  • Create test and learn programmes for technology evaluation and engagement measurement to ensure we are maximising return on investment
  • Provide a point of view on the integration of data and shared performance on Social, Search & Programmatic
  • Organise regular communication between local GroupM agencies as well as working into the wider account team in order to develop and share best practices and capabilities
  • Identify best practice digital techniques and tools to support campaigns and optimisation

 

  1. Client Account Management
  • Build positive relationships with the client, working in collaboration with senior stakeholders and the Business Director
  • Work to deliver against client commitments, with a primary focus on client satisfaction for all areas of digital
  • Develop relationships with key partners to drive incremental benefits for the client

 

  1. Operating and Technical Requirements
  • Manage buying and execution of campaigns across these partnerships & track digital investment versus trading commitments
  • Identify relevant digital KPIs, analyse performance, evaluate and benchmark digital performance
  • Ensure smooth working processes in order to deliver a timely and accurate service to the business

 

  1. People Management
  • To inspire and advance the understanding and activation across digital platforms working with the client and the wider account team where necessary
  • To foster and develop knowledge by building strong stakeholder relationships with the wider account team and digital planning teams
  • Contribute towards building cross-market digital capabilities
  • Train and develop the digital team by delegating tasks appropriate to each level for all roles within the team

 

  1. New business
  • Help to identify, develop and deliver on areas of possible business growth within existing client base, working with the Business Director and Regional Digital Director.
  • Support all MENA new business pitches, as required
