GroupM, the number one global media investment management group is looking to add a Media Executive to our GroupM Media team at Red Lion Square, London!

The Role Objective

 This role will provide account management to our publisher relationships and supports and interlinks into multiple functions in the media team across business development, trading, analysis, and operations.

 The ideal candidate will have some experience in the programmatic space managing relationships within display, video or mobile. They will have a general understanding of the market; with the ability to explain the various companies that operate in the space from SSPs to Ad exchanges, DSPs, and Ad Networks.


  • Manage day-day publisher relationships – be the key point of contact for publisher ad operations and programmatic sales
  • Process media bookings through internal systems (Metis, Media DB)
  • Interface into GroupM buying teams (Finecast, Xaxis, Programmatic Services) for queries on our direct publisher portfolio
  • Accountability for delivery management and performance analysis of our direct media buys, evaluating fill rates, performance, and volume.
  • Provide awareness to team of media supplier organisations and changes
  • Provide support on business development of new products
  • Manage planning and monitor allocation of investment across key products with the support of partnership and trading team to ensure the execution of deals.

Experience Required

  • Analytical experience - evidence of having approached problems from a mathematical perspective and working through to a solution in a logical way

About the team

GroupM provides products and services to the GroupM agencies. These range from technology solutions through to training programmes. Conceptually the GroupM team exists to facilitate efficiencies in the Agencies themselves and provide thought leadership to them.

The GroupM Media team sits within the interaction group and underpins the media needs of our programmatic buying businesses, including Xaxis, Programmatic Services and Finecast. The team has developed a significant volume of direct publisher relationships where we can acquire digital media at a quality, cost and preferred level of access that gives our buying businesses unique competitive advantage.

The team of 23 is split into commercial and operational hubs and deliver across multiple disciplines, from trading to account management, platform development, project management, analysis, and optimisation.
