We are currently looking for a Director - Activation to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of the Largest FMCG brand in India.

In this role, your goals will be: 
In three months:  
  • Understanding of categories and brand objectives for the year
  • Proactively take initiative towards the agency's goal for the year
  • Understand the current org structure and partners working with the business teams on the projects  
In six months: 
  • Successfully develop liaisons internally and externally with partners & clients.
  • Excellent trouble shooter and a backbone for the team especially when it comes to managing the campaigns on-ground
  • In depth understanding of the In-house products  and the latest technology  tools, to demonstrate the same during client conversations
  • Identify the partners in different fields/ segments who can help business team in sharing the market insights and new tech tools to manage flawless on-ground executions
  • Proactively sharing the new innovative/ tech tools with the teams internally to help building the strategy for the brands

  • Built high credibility with the partners & the internal team
  • Manage the clients in the absence of the business team during the campaign in the field
What your day job looks like at GroupM: 
  • Creating new assets, associating with existing IPs and maintaining assets to help achieve the goals of the business team in a sustainable fashion. 
  • Working closely with the reporting manager and the business team/ client to understand, debrief and execute activation briefs with varying turnaround times. 
  • Managing relationships with external partners to ensure smooth & flawless execution during projects. 
  • Develop an execution strategy basis, client brief recd from the business lead and understanding. 
  • Collaborate with internal & external teams to plan and develop & deliver
  • Develop a calendar that meets business teams/ client’s requirements across multiple touchpoints and markets.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention
  • Performing well under deadlines and being meticulous with detail
What you’ll bring: 
  • Proven work experience in experiential marketing  as an operation lead role
  • Professionals having a blend of understanding of market, expertise in on-ground executions, strategic thought process, a creative point of view & business quotient to drive projects
  • Help the team to win new business and achieve agreed revenue and margin targets
  • Pitch business proposals to clients with the business leads , negotiate and close the projects
  • Have great  negotiation skills to get the better cost and flawless execution
  • Attention to detail
  • Should have a strong knowledge of the new innovations in the field of experiential marketing
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Demonstrate initiative and drive
  Minimum qualifications: 
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience 
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in managing campaigns on-ground / execution.
