Owned Media 

Owned Media is a part of the Outcomes collective at Mindshare, who are responsible for the delivery of Mindshare’s Search, SEO, SEM, Programmatic, Adtech, Performance Partnerships, Social products, and services. It is responsible for delivering the Mindshare Performance Media function via utilising systems, processes and practices that enables work to move throughout the agency teams and departments effectively and efficiently.

Reporting of the role:                   Owned Media Associate Director 

Responsibilities 

• Delivers Owned Media activities within Mindshare hours and agreed client scope of works (does not over or under service clients) 

• Understands the client deliverables, expectations and timelines 

• Has deep understanding of the client(s) category and applies to work consistently helps to deliver outputs to increase/maintain client satisfaction 

• Ensures communication with client is upheld daily or as directed by the Associate Director 

• Has a thorough knowledge of the fundamentals for Owned Media performance 

• Showcases competency in on/off-page and technical optimisation tasks and tactics 

• Ensures tasks are completed on time and communication of updates provided to Associate Director 

• Integrate seamlessly with client account teams 

• Assists the Associate Director in ensuring all financial processes are followed with 100% accuracy e.g. monthly invoicing 

• Support and present on client presentations, QBRs and demonstrates quality client service 

• Builds an understanding of the billing and invoicing process (compliance, timesheets, scope updates) 

• Showcases competency in using website analytics to deliver detailed reports and actionable insights 

• Showcases competency in using search tools to perform research and recommendations for clients e.g. SEMRush, Lumar, Screaming Frog 

• Ensures quality of work is high and positively takes feedback on board from Associate Director 

• Uses existing templates and agreed processes to complete activity 

• Assists the Associate Director in presenting data gathered and formulating opportunities / insights for clients 

• Showcases ability to provide Owned Media recommendations which supports and positively impacts SEM performance 

• Looks to pro-actively increase knowledge across the Owned Media landscape and shares interesting findings with Search team 

• Works collaboratively with different divisions within Mindshare to ensure holistic approach to implementations where possible 

Experience 

• Evidence of a background in SEO (2 years minimum) 

• Demonstrated experienced in team leadership 

• Understanding of Owned Media channels and evidence of education to client(s) and/or internal stakeholders 

• Strong experience with utilising industry leading tools – examples: Ahrefs, SEMRush, Google/Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Looker Studio, Screaming Frog 

• Understanding a variety of business verticals and owned media impacts 

• Project management and organisational skills 

• Effective, collaborative and efficient working style
