About the role / Some of the things we’d like you to do: 
Driving Financial Performance
  • Support Commercial Operations Lead:
    • Work with Client Services and Business Operations Project Managers to develop commercial proposals (annual forecasting, resource planning, profitability, commercial models, etc)
    • Work with Business Operations Project Managers , Client Finance and Talent Operations to develop analysis and presentations to inform scope and commercial conversations with clients
    • Work with Business Operations Project Managers to maintain an accurate view of client demand and resource needs
    • Work with Talent Operations to support developing resource strategies to optimize financial performance, to deliver work on time and to meet client expectations
  • Review timesheets submitted by resources working on various product areas, following up with them to resolve any inaccurate submissions
  • Help ensure Talent Operations and Client Finance have accurate and timely data to run resource utilization and financial performance reporting
  • Support the client billing process, ensuring the team reconciles media spend and Client Finance complete invoicing in line with client agreements

 

Driving Operational Effectiveness
  • Support the APAC Business Operations team with key projects to deliver on improved ways of working and efficiencies
  • Identify areas to streamline data, implement automation and create efficiency gains opportunities
  • Help the Commercial Operations Lead track adherence to Process and Quality Standards, encouraging their use, and helping resolve barriers to their adoption
  • Regularly share operational recommendations to improve the way we work, and help implement any necessary improvements within the team

 

Leading the Delivery of Work
  • Project Manage APAC teams, ensuring we meet client expectations on time and budget across core deliverables
  • Partner with Talent Operations, and attend routine resource allocation meetings, to ensure the right resource is identified and enabled to deliver work efficiently, and to resolve any resource challenges along the way
  • Support Business Operations Project Managers with client /partner management when requested by:
    • Sharing status updates and gathering information/context
    • Holding them to account for their deliverables/inputs
    • Setting up and/or facilitating meetings
    • Documenting and sharing meeting minutes and actions
  • Look to identify potential issues before they happen, and with the support of the Finance Operations Lead and Client Service Leads to put plans in place to mitigate them
  • Help the team understand the client agreed upon service level agreements, and support them in finding ways to better manage their work to them
  • Be a role model and advocate for effective collaboration and communication across the cross-functional team

 

About yourself / Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • Interest in Data Analysis, Commercials, Forecasting or Operations

  • Strong commercial background in managing profitability and financial planning
  • You have at least 1 year of experience, ideally including time within a media agency and/or from management consulting companies
  • You have experience working with multiple stakeholders
  • Experienced in being able to project manage delivery timelines 
  • You show curiosity in the way businesses operate, and demonstrate an ability to make recommendations on how they can change to improve business effectiveness
  • You have a data-driven, analytical mind, able to use it to identify root causes to complex problems
  • You can make decisions and resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • You are a very organised person, and have strong attention to detail, allowing you to bring structure to otherwise unstructured situation
  • You have strong spoken and written communication skills, ensuring your thoughts and needs are heard and understood
  • You have well-tuned relationship skills, and you’re able to use them to build rapport and influence people at all levels
  • You have a can-do attitude, you can multi-task and you remain calm and composed under pressure
  • You exude positivity and energy, and you can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment
  • You work best in team environments, and you are a beacon of collaboration
  • Bonus: You have knowledge of software and programming languages, or have a keen interest in learning. Ability or previous experience with writing Google Scripts or Python automation scripts are also a plus.
