GroupM Malaysia Media Masters - starting August 2024

The Media Masters Program is an accelerated trainee program that prepares individuals with the knowledge and skills to launch their career in Media Planning, Media Buying, Digital, Trading or Biddable Specialist role at GroupM – the world’s largest media company!

This program has been designed to be the foundation that prepares bright individuals for a career in media. By combining industry concepts, on-the-job training, and mentorship from media professionals, you will develop skills in our key practice areas: Media Planning, Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, and E-commerce.

In this role, your goals will be:

  • Unlocked new achievements by acquiring relevant media work experience and skills valued by the industry.

  • You would have worked on real media briefs from one of the biggest global brand, with full media campaign ideas.

What you will bring:

  • Open to fresh graduates and entry-level professional with less than 1 year experience in any discipline, but preferably with a an university Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Mathematics, Business and/or Communications e.g. Communications Research, Communication Technology, Economics, Statistics, Management, Integrated Marketing Communications and other similar disciplines.
  • Final year students graduating in Dec 2023 & June 2024 may apply
  • A big appetite in the ever-changing digital space.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in oral and written communications.
  • Demonstrate strong interest to build an exciting career in media and communications.
  • Appreciation for numbers, statistics and data with the ability to interpret and translate the findings into successful media campaigns.
  • Adaptable to constant changes, as the media business is ever-evolving.
  • Graduate trainees will be paid a competitive starting salary throughout the program.

First Round:  Phone Screening with Talent Acquisition MY team

Second Round: You will be invited to GroupM office for 2-3 rounds of test and panel Interviews with agency heads & team leaders - mid July 2024
