Position at Gogo Commercial Aviation

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain JIRA and Confluence environments, involving creation and management of custom, complex projects, workflows, security schemes, custom fields, dashboards and reports configurations.
  • Provide assistance, advice, problem solving and technical information to internal customers on the supported application platforms.
  • Provide training to the business on supported application platforms and capabilities
  • Support the Office 365 application suite and provide assistance and training to the business community.
  • Perform application maintenance
  • Experience with JIRA integrations such as Git, TaskTop Hub
  • Experience developing rest API
  • Experience with Confluence integrations such as Lucid Chart
  • Administer and maintain other enterprise applications for the environment
  • Create, maintain and support dashboards and advanced filters for end users reporting capabilities.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Systems monitoring, proactively supporting the environment and responding to alert events as required.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for systems related outages

Experience:

  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence administration and support
  • Experience with administration and support of IIS and web-based applications
  • Solid understanding of and experience with workflows, permissions, screen schemes, etc.
  • Experience with JIRA plugins, deployment, upgrades and maintenance
  • Experience integrating JIRA with Atlassian Confluence
  • Knowledge and experience with Java, Apache Tomcat, and Linux
  • Knowledge and experience with Windows Server and IIS
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Energetic and ability to work in a fast-changing dynamic agile environment
  • Understanding of the SDLC and project management methodologies
  • Knowledge and experience with Office 365 and the application suite offerings
