Position at Gogo Commercial Aviation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling day to day helpdesk support issues;
  • Troubleshooting software, hardware, application issues;
  • Hardware & Software Installations (Desktop);
  • Imaging / Reimaging of Laptops for deployment;
  • Patch Management deployment - Software Package installations;
  • Document and publish documentation in our internal knowledgebase;
  • Timely and of high quality response to support requests;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve superior customer service;
  • Develop skills to become progressively proficient within areas of responsibility
  • Install and maintain Audio/Visual equipment in the various training and conference rooms
  • Managing processes for onboarding and offboarding of employees and contractors
  • Support specialty A/V meetings and conference setups

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ year of technical help desk support experience
  • Ability to lift 60lbs
  • Ability to work varying shifts/on-call schedule
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Your own reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Skills, Experience and Talents:

  • Hands-on technical help desk support experience to include:
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Understanding of the entire Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications;
  • General Network troubleshooting skills (IP, Switch, Cabling, etc…);
  • Imaging / Application Deployments (SCCM, JAMF)
  • Knowledge of MS Active Directory (Groups, Policies, Security, etc.);
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Domain Concepts;
  • Current A+ Certification or the ability to obtain one within the first 6 months of employment;
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
  • Requirement gathering and analysis skills;
  • Experience with Skype for Business
  • Familiarity with IP telephony and mobile device support;
  • Self-motivated and insatiable hunger to learn.
  • Experience with Enterprise Audio/Video conferencing (Configuration, Troubleshooting, Support, Training)

Additional Considerations:

  • ZenDesk, SCCM, Attlassian Jira / Confluence, SharePoint familiarity;
  • Certifications in Windows 10, Network+, and/ or Microsoft Server Technologies;
  • Understanding of Linux based Systems.
