Under the direction of the Sr. Manager of Operations and with safety, efficiency and customer service a priority, the Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for the distribution of customer goods on time and without damage. Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of assets in their charge. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures to maintain inventory accuracy. Ensure that each proposed transaction complies with applicable licensing requirements under export control laws and regulations. Manage team of workers and deals with personal issues such as recruitment, training and discipline of staff. Supervises and coordinates the activities of loading, unloading, moving and storing customer product in an efficient and safe manner. Ensures customer’s orders are complete and on time – the right quantities in the right place at the right time both domestic and international.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintains shipping, inventory control and pick and prep operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational work instructions and procedures.
  • Recruits, orients and trains staff as well as monitors their performance and progress.
  • Develop processes and procedures to comply with applicable export control laws and regulations, as well as the requirements set forth in Gogo’s shipping policy.
  • Maintains warehouse operations capacities and capabilities by inspecting equipment, issuing requisitions for repair or replacement and planning and implementing continuous improvements.
  • Oversee all customs documentation and record keeping ensuring compliance with the relevant regulations.
  • Effectively integrate the flow of goods and information to optimize objectives and take ownership of reporting tactical performance and goals.
  • Build a strong self-directed team to deliver exceptional service and support to customers.
  • Maintains the highest standards of customer service by immediately attending and resolving customer issues on product preparation before dispatch.
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Be able to work multiple shifts sometimes weekends.


  • 10-15 years shipping/receiving experience domestically and internationally
  • 10 years aerospace specific experience (Civilian or Military)
  • 5 years of supervisory/management experience within the warehouse and distribution industry.
  • Experience working with Authorized Release Certificates (FAA 8130, TCCA Form One or EASA Form 1)
  • Experience with FAA, TCCA or EASA audits, assessments and/or experience working within a AS9100 or AS9120 Quality Management System preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documents (drawings / specification)
  • Working knowledge of the export certification process for aircraft parts and components.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and departments
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Lotus Notes & SAP)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to identify and solve problems
  • Experience with technology and telecom companies are a plus.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with solid attention to detail.
