Gogo is seeking exceptional customer focused and results driven Senior Manager – Lean leader to provide Lean Six Sigma (LSS) leadership, consulting and training. The candidate will execute change initiatives to drive continuous improvement across the enterprise and serve as a subject matter expert in the Lean Six Sigma methodology.

  • Develop and deliver Continuous Improvement (CI) standard operating procedures, processes, templates, tools and policies to support the advancement of lean framework and blueprint
  • Lead enterprise wide improvement projects resulting in sustained performance
  • Work with cross functional leadership to identify and prioritize targeted areas of opportunities for eliminating waste, reducing variation and driving efficiency improvements
  • Facilitate value stream mapping, business process re-design, kaizen, continuous improvement, lean thinking initiatives to simplify and improve across all levels of the organization
  • Develop & deliver LSS training, develop belt resources, coach & certify them
  • Support cross-functional teams to desired results through skillful application of LSS methodology
  • Mentor Green Belts and Sponsors in their application of LSS tools, techniques and principles.
  • Facilitate Rapid Improvement events (RIEs) and/or Kaizen events for problem solving and CI
  • Maintain detailed records of all lean and improvement projects


  • Engineering degree with 10+ years’ experience as Lean Six Sigma MBB/BB
  • Must be a change leader: ability to adapt, assimilate, initiate, support and reinforce change in line with dynamic nature of Gogo’s environment
  • Ability to influence business units and partner without direct control of resources
  • Experience in developing LSS training curriculum and associated CI training material
  • Skilled in the application of metrics to drive decisions/actions
  • Talented facilitator with experience in running workshops and improvements
  • Expert in quality concepts and tools such as value stream mapping, business process re-design, kaizen, continuous improvement, lean thinking etc.
  • Ability to influence and gain commitment at all organizational levels and positively transform the organizational culture to adapt to improved processes and performance metrics
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • Functional experience in multiple disciplines such as manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or quality
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a diverse leadership team

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in working in a fast-paced Aviation, OEM, technology or manufacturing industry
  • Successful candidate will be a focused, organized, self-motivated individual, able to achieve high impact changes in fast paced and dynamic environment
