Aircraft Maintenance Controller
As an Aircraft Maintenance Controller you will support the maintenance, repair, and the return to service of the Gogo Broadband System on board customer aircraft. The individual will ensure that all work performed is accomplished in accordance with all company, airline partner, and FAA regulations. This individual will be knowledgeable in all facets of aircraft maintenance including electrical and avionics equipment installations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
-Ensure complete and accurate documentation for all work performed on customer aircraft.
-Establish and maintain a working relationship with airline partners and contract maintenance personnel.
-Achieve and maintain specific customer satisfaction goals as defined by the Aircraft Maintenance Manager.
-Ensure that all the required maintenance and preventative maintenance is being performed in accordance with all company, airline partner, and FAA regulations to ensure system integrity.
-Conduct diagnostic checks on Gogo system installed onboard customer aircraft.
-Assist Gogo and airline partner maintenance and engineering departments.
-Complete assigned tasks as required to meet schedule. This includes but is not limited to working with airline partner maintenance planners, aircraft routers as well as third party contract maintenance personnel.
Required Skills & Experience:
-1 year experience in aircraft maintenance including electrical and avionics installations on jet powered transport aircraft.
-Ability to interpret all technical manuals and schematics including engineering orders supporting the installation and repair of the ABS system.
-Proven customer service skills.
-Computer skills including Microsoft Office, and LINUX.
-Ability to understand and speak Spanish, Portuguese or Japanese highly preferred.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
-Associates degree in related discipline preferred.
