The Project Control Analyst will monitor and analyze project financials working closely with theproject manager, project team and finance professionals to identify and implement potential cost saving plans to improve project financial performance. Areas supported will include project planning and scheduling, budgeting and funding determination, risk management, coordination and integration of efforts across the product team, and communications with stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, vendors, and financial organizations.


The candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational & multitasking skills. The position requires proficiency with MS Office Suite products, working knowledge of Excel including mastery of Filtering and Look-up commands. Working knowledge of Hyperion and proficiency with other financial systems in order to support of all project management activities. Candidate will be the center point of information management for the team, assisting in developing & managing trackers, working in Navision – the financial system to track costs, purchase orders and invoices. The candidate must demonstrate leadership, ability to learn systems and must be able to develop relationships with various internal departments to achieve its goals.


This position encompasses several duties such as (but not limited to the following):


Essential Duties and responsibilities

•Management of various work efforts against approved budget plan, provide regular status reports of progress

•Communicate and maintain project schedules, reporting schedules, and quarterly forecasts

•Administer logistics support including but not limited to PR coordination, packaging

requirements, shipping documentation, and freight invoice payments

•Establish and maintain project administrative files and records and provide document control support for legal submittals and maintain records of all Regulatory information

•It is the responsibility of the PC Analyst to ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures

•Ensure that projects are set up to properly capture project costs, and accruals

•Primary focus is to ensure all requests submissions are completed by the specified SLA and due date. Create and update SLA and other key performance metrics

•Performs other duties and special projects as requested by management

•Responsible for accurate and timely updates for contract renewals and modifications and produce trackers to report on key milestones for projects

•Assist with pricing inputs and cost analysis on vendor quotes and SOW proposal reviews.

•Trains and assists peers with finance questions and system concerns

•Supports the PMs with preparation of yearly, quarterly, or monthly project budget worksheets to meet department budget and reporting requirements

•Manage financial paperwork flow related to purchase orders & invoices by using EXCEL and the Navision financial system.

•Maintain open communication with the vendors and their employees to ensure documents are submitted and are completed. QA/QC management of documents.

•Work with the PM to develop reports, tracking methods, and support definition of processes within the team.

•Recommend process improvements plans, areas of efficiencies and automations

•Manage Change Management and Incident Ticket tools, preferably with expertise on “Service Now”

Job Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree. Business Administration focus is preferred.



•2-3 years’ work experience.

•Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet clients' needs

•Ability to travel as required (minimum)

•High level of proficiency working with forms, and timelines

•Clear understanding of and ability to read and interpret documents such as Site Plans and lease contracts.

•Ability to write coherent routine reports and effective business letters.

•Experience in a highly aggressive environment preferred.

•Ability to listen, discern and resolve issues with a sense of urgency
