The Jet Enterprise Developer is responsible for developing business analytics reports and dashboards in Excel to aid in business decisions.  Responsibilities include supporting and maintaining the data warehouse and OLAP cubes.  Duties include gathering requirements, analysis and design, development, functional testing, and deployment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing business analytics reports and dashboards in Excel, using Jet Enterprise, to satisfy both finance and operations reporting requirements;
  • Managing the Jet Data Manager and user security for Jet Enterprise;
  • Designing and configuring OLAP cubes, as well as adding any needed tables and fields to the data warehouse;
  • Troubleshooting and providing ongoing support for client and server issues

Qualifications / Technical Competency:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field;
  • 3+ years of Dynamics NAV development experience;
  • 3+ years of managing data warehouses and developing OLAP Cubes;
  • Technical knowledge of NAV C/AL development in an RTC environment;
  • Technical knowledge of the NAV SQL database and tables;
  • Experience in troubleshooting difficult problems;
  • Ability to debug errors efficiently and effectively;
  • Functional knowledge of NAV Financial Management, Supply Chain, Service Management, and Manufacturing a plus;
  • Functional knowledge of thirty party add-ons, such as Lanham E-Ship and To Increase Advanced Job Management;
  • Expert knowledge of developing Jet reports;
  • Expert knowledge managing a Jet Enterprise data warehouse;
  • Experience with Azure SQL PaaS and SQL Server 2014;
  • Experience with ZenDesk, Jira, and/or Service Now;

  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Any applicable Jet Reports or Microsoft SQL / Azure certifications are a plus
