As a Gogo Software Test Engineer Intern you will contribute to the test automation of embedded systems as well as the testing of our business systems.   The experience will provide the right candidate with a well-rounded testing experience as well as an introduction to the operations of an aircraft engineering organization. 

How will you make a difference and learn?

Depending on your skills and experience, the Gogo Software Test Engineer Intern will have the opportunity to work hands-on testing software deployed on various types of systems. You will also have the opportunity to learn and work in an environment that utilizes the Scrum Agile development methodology. Additionally, you will learn how to write and execute test cases as well as testing processes. If you have experience Java, Groovy or Selenium you will have the opportunity to work with our automation team developing test programs and test cases.


  • Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Science or related field.  JUNIOR or SENIOR.
  • You must be enrolled in an accredited school.  
  • This is a paid summer internship that requires an average availability of 40 hour per week from May-August.

Desired Skills, Academic Experience and Talents

  • Testing software applications
  • Experience with managed switch configuration
  • Programming experience with Java, Groovy or Selenium
  • Programming experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting
  • Linux power-user/administrator
  • Willingness to learn business process and the systems that support them such as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool or an Enterprise Resource planning (ERP) tool.

This paid internship requires an average availability of 40 hours per week during the summer of 2018 in Gogo BA's main office located in Broomfield, CO.  Interns are full-fledged members of the team —engaged from day one through structured training, mentorship, a diverse set of experiences, a network of peers across the company, and leadership opportunities.
