As the leader of the Glu Mobile Global Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and measurement of a talent acquisition plan to meet business objectives through talent that is aligned with and driven by our culture and values.


  • Partner with executives and hiring managers to thoroughly understand the company's hiring goals and plan effectively.
  • Create and execute a  talent acquisition strategy aligned with Glu Mobile’s business objectives and culture in order to meet aggressive hiring goals, with a focus on proactive sourcing (e.g., social networking, internet research, cold calling, regular networking at events & conferences).
  • Manage efficient, fast-paced full-cycle recruiting operations which support Glu Mobile’s rapid hiring growth.
  • Manage the requisition approval process and allocate open requisitions appropriately to internal recruiters and external agencies as needed.
  • Recruit for senior leadership roles and lead consultative recruiting projects.
  • Lead employer branding efforts and strategy for Glu Mobile.
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
  • Track weekly, the monthly, quarterly, and annual performance of the function and team, and regularly communicate activity and results.
  • Build, manage, and train a high performing team of in-house recruiters supplemented with contingent staff as necessary.


  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred.
  • 8+ years’ experience in full life cycle recruiting, including, but not limited to: sourcing, referrals, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, strategy, and relationship management.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and executing a creative, metrics-driven, consultative service oriented recruiting strategy for a global organization. Ability to develop business cases and service requirements, influence and foster trust with stakeholders at all levels, while creating and managing strategic alliances.
  • A successful track-record of recruiting management (or similar business function) at a rapidly growing tech company or previous experience training and/or mentoring a high-performing team.  Prior successful people management experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in mobile games is strongly preferred.  Prior experience working in the gaming or entertainment industry is helpful.
  • Project management experience desired.
  • A solid network of relevant candidates and recruiters, and efficient methods of tracking them.
  • Hands-on experience with relevant social media, conferences, events and recruiting channels.
  • Prior experience leading the development of a comprehensive employment branding campaign is strongly preferred.  Strong written and verbal communication skills with no hesitation of cold calling, networking, and public speaking.
  • A great sense of fun and a relentless can-do attitude.
