Role Overview:

This is a contract position with the option to be converted to a full time employee.The QA Tester will be responsible for executing test cases against Glu Mobile's products, supporting the local engineering team and for reporting and verifying defects found testing on Android and iOS smartphone games.


  • Black box testing on Android smartphone games and iOS games
  • Troubleshoot, report, and follow up on all defects found
  • Work closely with other remote QA Testers, Engineering, Production and Customer Service teams
  • Provide post-launch support for all updates to assigned titles
  • Provide status updates on testing results as requested by QA Leads and Managers
  • Attend and participate in team meetings



  • At least 1 year mobile gaming QA Experience
  • Test Plan Creation
  • Mobile iOS and Android testing experience is a major plus
  • Understanding of both Mac and PC operating systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • A willingness to learn
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have attention to detail and be able to follow test cases as well as do ad hoc testing
  • Ability to multitask in a fast, dynamic environment and maintain a professional and positive attitude with team members
  • Must have a strong sense of ownership, urgency and initiative
  • Ability to create or refine processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Availability to work overtime and on weekends if necessary
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Additional language fluency/familiarity a plus
  • JIRA experience is a plus
