We are looking for a Sr Technical Artist generalist, with an emphasis on Rigging and Animation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable troubleshooting, inventing, and documenting workflows for artists creating assets for game development. You will need to be comfortable troubleshooting and inventing within the game engine. You will work with Art Director, project management and animation leads to solve specific challenges, provide direction to peers, and need to be comfortable with artistic critique.

Role Overview:
Design and assist in developing tools and pipelines for Artists.
Proactively seek out inefficiencies and problems in existing pipelines and identify potential solutions. Setting up advanced character rigs and skinning.
Improve and enhance tools/processes throughout the project cycle.
Assist in checking art content against technical guidelines prior to integration in the game. Help improve and refine shader, texture, lighting quality.
Research and help develop new technologies.

Expert knowledge of Maya.
Expert knowledge of Unity.
Expert knowledge of character rigging.
Must be able to work comfortably with common scripting languages, such as Python.
Demonstrated initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
Shader authoring skills (HLSL, GLSL, CGFX) knowledge.
Experience with particle effects.
4+ years of experience in the game industry or equivalent.
