At our Crowdstar studio, we believe that there is a huge opportunity to build products that engage, enrich and empower women.  With our two top grossing titles, Covet Fashion and Design Home, Crowdstar has developed new ways for users (players) to enjoy fashion and interior design. We are changing how women interact with games; from how they discover and shop for everything from clothing to shoes, or furniture to home decor. As a team, we are passionate not only about creating fun and engaging games for women but enriching lives outside of the game.

Role Overview:

As a Sr Business Development Manager, you will focus on connecting business opportunities with our products. You will focus on outreach, deal management and partner support, by connecting leading brands, influencers, and other sponsorship opportunities with our lifestyle products:  Design Home and Covet.

You’ll most often be:

  • Prospecting for and negotiating brand partnerships, licensing deals and other opportunities to connect our players with leading brands, influencers, and other strategic partnerships
  • Partnering with our GM’s and other key leads to surface new opportunities relevant to their product
  • Connecting in the Fashion, Beauty and Home Décor space, leveraging your connections to surface new opportunities
  • Leading all aspects of the pipeline from partner discovery to deal negotiation
  • Working closely with Legal to negotiate and manage all aspects of the deal from key commercial terms through to long form contracts
  • Investing in relationship building with new and existing brands

  • You have experience in successfully managing all aspects of the deal pipeline:  from prospecting to end deal negotiation
  • Have relevant experience and have contacts to draw from in the Fashion, Beauty and Home Décor space
  • Proven experience in creating innovative solutions to complex problems, finding win / win outcomes

And your skills and experience include:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development in the fashion, beauty or home décor space
  • Strong leadership, influencing and communication skills with ability to interact, influence and align with all levels of the organization, both internal and external
  • Ability to think end-to-end and position complex business solutions with consideration for impact on all relevant business operations as a whole
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinker with exceptional execution and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must demonstrate sound decision-making and judgment skills with ability to react quickly under pressure  
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience, MBA preferred
