With our two top grossing titles, Covet Fashion and Design Home, CrowdStar has developed new ways for users (players) to enjoy fashion and interior design. We are changing how women interact with games. We are changing how they discover and shop for everything from clothing to shoes, or furniture to home decor. Role Overview:

As a Head of (Director of) eCommerce, you will lead e-commerce strategy, operations and merchandising as well as drive the amazing customer experiences beyond our games.  The role will focus on optimizing store engagement, increasing conversion, and ensuring the eCommerce is an additive benefit to our user experience.

You’ll most often:

  • In partnership with our Design Home GM, set vision and strategy for holistic and seamless e-commerce experience:  discovery, shopping and purchase experience
  • Identify key partners that will deliver e-commerce experience as an extension to our games
  • Lead and manage e-commerce experience, operations and merchandising through an external partner
  • Be responsible for managing external partners that deliver store merchandising including navigation, categories, visual merchandising, search, fulfillment, etc…
  • Lead the process and partner cross-functionally to ensure high quality and timely execution of campaigns and content within the store
  • Oversee store optimization and testing, methodology and analysis to improve user experience and lift key success metrics
  • Drive store personalization and segmentation strategy to create relevant, value-added, personal and engaging customer experience to increase engagement, conversion, lifetime value 
  • Partner with the GM’s to collaborate on user journey, rewards, merchandising, etc…
  • Discover, evaluate, recommend and manage relationships with e-commerce companies to ensure delivery of value and KPIs
  • Establish detailed KPIs and metrics to track and report on the performance of processes and programs and transform data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Bring new ideas and innovative approaches to digital experiences to drive growth and conversion

And your skills and experience include:

  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, ideally experience in home décor
  • Subject matter expertise in production, site operations, UI/UX, features and functionalities, site merchandising, testing & optimization, mobile
  • Strong leadership, influencing and communication skills with ability to interact, influence and align with all levels of the organization, both internal and external
  • Motivational and strong people manager who leads by example and excels at communication to ensure alignment with all team members
  • Ability to think end-to-end and position complex business solutions with consideration for impact on all relevant business operations as a whole
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinker with exceptional execution and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills with proven track record of delivering high quality work under tight timelines
  • Must demonstrate sound decision-making and judgment skills with ability to react quickly under pressure  
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
