At our Crowdstar studio in Burlingame, we believe that there is a huge opportunity in interactive entertainment products for women, and CrowdStar’s goal is to build products which engage, enrich and empower them.  

With our two top grossing titles, Covet Fashion and Design Home, CrowdStar has developed new ways for users (players) to enjoy fashion and interior design. Not only are we changing how women game, we’re also changing how they discover and shop for everything from clothing to shoes, or furniture to home decor. As a team, we are passionate not only about creating fun and engaging games for women but enriching lives outside of the game.


Role Overview:

Our Community Marketing Manager will play the important role of developing and executing social and community strategies across multiple channels. Their focus will be on further engaging our existing audience both inside and outside of Covet Fashion, as well as growing and improving the health of our organic funnel. They will represent the voice of brand, building and strengthening our community and even re-connecting with our lapsed audience. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Design and implement social media strategy and best practices across various social media channels (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, etc.)
  • Communicate directly with users via social media channels including directing and responding to questions, engaging in conversation and being the voice of Covet Fashion
  • Grow followers and audience engagement by delivering fully integrated social programs across channels 
  • Manage social media campaign execution and scheduling including day-to-day content sourcing and creation as well as post-campaign analysis
  • Manage the boosting and geo-targeting of the social media plan to budget across social channels
  • Own and drive end-to-end development and execution of email campaigns, including communication cadence, audience segmentation, analysis, and monitoring of email best practices
  • Continuously test, optimize and analyze campaigns and projects based on key KPIs of engagement, retention and installs
  • Provide campaign and monthly updates on top performing content, key learnings and KPI reports with recommendations on improvements moving forward 
  • Make recommendations on the future of marketing and social media including but not limited to, emerging consumer trends, new social media platforms and CRM tools 
  • Manage VIP Facebook group, creating and maintaining a strong feedback loop between our most engaged audience and the Covet Fashion team 
  • Work closely with Brand Account Management team to develop and execute promotional campaigns for brand partners like Calvin Klein, French Connection, Nicole Miller and many others
  • Maintain awareness and influence the marketing touch points in the player journey that impact product development and CFX team execution in support of exceeding player needs and strengthening relationships with players<span<span


Requirements
:  

  • 3-5 years marketing and/or social media experience, with a solid understanding of engaging an audience through a mobile platform - fashion industry experience a plus
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Tumblr, Pinterest, blogs, etc.)
  • Familiarity with fashion space including brands, influencers and trends
  • Strong ability to write clear, engaging and cohesive messaging with a mature female target audience in mind
  • Analytical skills to measure and understand how social campaigns deliver impact to broader company business and marketing objectives
  • Ability to work individually and with cross functional teams to develop campaigns and drive results
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding and empathy towards Covet Fashion’s current user base
  • Ability to strategically identify marketing opportunities based on cultural, consumer, market and industry trends
  • Strong leadership & teamwork skills to ensure cooperative relationships across departments.
  • Understanding of best practice social, digital, content and channel marketing
  • Great eye for high-quality impactful content
  • Experience with MailChimp and SimplyMeasured or equivalent tools strongly encouraged
  • Background in developing loyalty programs a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
