At our Crowdstar studio in Burlingame, we believe that there is huge opportunity in interactive entertainment products for women, and CrowdStar’s goal is to build products which engage, enrich and empower them.  

With our two top grossing titles, Covet Fashion and Design Home, CrowdStar has developed new ways for users (players) to enjoy fashion and interior design. Not only are we changing how women game, we’re also changing how they discover and shop for everything from clothing to shoes, or furniture to home decor. As a team we are passionate not only about creating fun and engaging games for women but enriching lives outside of the game.

Role Overview

The Senior Marketing Artist is a skilled graphic designer with the ability to create a broad array of marketing graphics for all CrowdStar games. You’ll work with a variety of existing art assets in different file formats from across our games and transform them into dynamic, compelling advertisements and marketing creatives. You'll be called on to create everything from static advertisements to animations.  You'll need excellent instincts about composition, color and typography, and the ability to take art direction well.  We work fast, so you'll need superior time management skills and be able to adapt quickly to changes and juggle overlapping deadlines.  You will work with user acquisition experts and game teams to achieve marketing goals.  It's a role with a lot of room for creativity so we're looking for someone with great ideas as well!


Required Skills

  • 3+ years working as designer in advertising, marketing or similar experience
  • Excellent graphic design skills, including the effective use of color, composition, and typography
  • Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience using Adobe After Effects a plus
  • Experience in designing A/B creative tests and iterating on designs based on results
  • Love of creative collaboration and ability to take direction well
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Great creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • A passion for games - and extensive knowledge of social games is a big plus!
