Role Overview

As Sr. Product Manager for Ads, you will own the roadmap for the ads experience across all of Glu’s titles. You will prioritize initiatives that will drive advertising revenue while also balancing user satisfaction. You’ll work collaboratively with business, product, engineering and ad operations to deliver a best-in-class experience for millions of users.  

Responsibilities

  • Drive and lead initiatives to grow overall in-app advertising supply by maximizing in-app ad-monetization potential
  • A/B test frequencies and other integration strategies to maximize advertising LTVs
  • Improve existing advertising funnels to increase overall Ad ARPDAU and engagement without hitting retention or CR
  • Possess a highly creative, analytical, and thoughtful approach to ad-format instrumentation
  • Maintain a quality advertising experience across all mobile inventory
  • Lead cross-functional teams (centech & BI) of product managers, engineers, and analysts to optimize revenue and yield by creating a variety of global config files based on user profiles and spend propensity scores
  • Communicate ad strategy, analysis, forecasting and implementation plan to the revenue team and senior leaders
  • Proactively identify underperforming titles or ad-formats and deliver recommendations based on learnings across other titles under the Glu umbrella
  • Manage and monitor performance through effective metrics and analysis while making recommendations to grow and evolve integration points, opportunities and applications

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience at an advertising technology company or mobile publisher
  • Experience with ad serving systems (MoPub/DFP) and programmatic systems (SSPs, DSPs, Trade Desks)
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills; analyzing data & trends to make data-driven decisions that move the business forward
  • Highly collaborative and able to work cross functionally to get things done
  • Excellent communication skills that translate to internal teams and external clients, vendors or partners
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow through
  • Proven project management, analytical and communications skills
  • Fluency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Preferred Qualification

  • SQL and Tableau proficiency is a plus
