The HR and Recruiting Operations Analyst is at the heart of the employee experience at Glu. From the time a candidate receives an offer to when they join the company, the Analyst takes care of all onboarding activities for North America locations. With a strong focus on customer service, you will interact directly with employees to ensure all of their questions and needs are taken care of and facilitate new hire orientation.  In addition, this role will lead recruiting operations and U.S. mobility programs – relocation and immigration. Functionally aligned, you will work closely with several teams, including Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, Total Rewards, Payroll, Legal and Information Technology (IT).  This is a critical role that straddles HR & Recruiting Operations and is a great opportunity for someone who has a relentless pursuit of quality service, process efficiency, global scale, and automation to have an impact.

 

Responsibilities:

HR & Recruiting Operations

  • Client facing role, must enjoy helping people!
  • Closely align with Talent Acquisition and HRBPs to manage day to day onboarding activities:
    • Manage communications with managers and individual contributors to process employee data changes
    • Generate offer and transfer letters
    • Coordinate new hire activities and paperwork
    • Facilitate new hire orientation and lead improvements to take the onboarding program to the next level
  • Maintain people data across Recruiting & HR systems
  • Develop strong understanding for process management in our core HR systems – JobVite & Workday
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities to better leverage technology and help the Recruiting & HR team scale.
  • Lead system implementation and enhancement projects for recruiting system: requirements definition, process design, and system testing.
  • Prepare reports and metrics from recruiting system for management
  • Respond to first level questions from new employees on all HR topics, triage to functional HR experts as needed. 
  • Develop strong understanding of our benefits package to be able to effectively respond to benefits questions.
  • Ensure necessary documentation is stored in electronic employee files

 
Relocation

  • Develop and implement U.S. Mobility guidelines and service delivery model.
  • Own the vendor relationship with Plus Relocation and implementation of service delivery model; ensuring deadlines are met, managing exceptions, policy changes, escalations.
  • Liaise with employees, managers, Business Partners and immigration/relocation vendors on U.S. immigration and relocation matters.
  • Act as an advisor to our employees, management and HR.

 

Immigration

  • Responsible for facilitating work authorizations to for temporary moves and Ex-Pat assignments.
  • Advises management and HR on all aspects of inbound and outbound immigration regulations and options in order to ensure compliance and maximize benefit to employees and candidates.
  • Work closely with outside immigration counsel on all work authorization and immigration cases to ensure timely processing and issue resolution.
  • Responsible for interfacing with N.A. America payroll and taxation teams as it relates to financial/tax impacts for foreign workers/international assignments.
  • Prepares reports on the immigration program, including financials and trends as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years’ experience in an HR or Recruiting Operations or similar role
  • Immigration knowledge and experience covering temporary visas, permanent residency processes, form I9 compliance and E-Verify.
  • Experience managing vendors to optimal productivity and performance.
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Advanced analytical skills, strong detail orientation and project management experience
  • Process oriented with ability to proactively identify process improvement opportunities with automation
  • Excellent teamwork and adaptability skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to take initiative and be resourceful and creative when it comes to problem solving
  • Unwavering dedication to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Experience with Jobvite & Workday a strong plus
