Role Overview:

Do you love implementing and optimizing HR systems? Do you believe that there is a better way to scale and build systems to support the business? As an HRIS Analyst you will report to the VP, IT and help us scale its systems and processes for growth. We are looking for a dynamic individual who will be responsible for partnering with the HR, Finance, and Legal organizations to help identify, design, and implement the business process improvement initiatives necessary to meet Glu Mobile’s strategic objectives. Primary Systems Supported: Workday, Oracle ERP Cloud (Expenses), Apttus (Contract Life Cycle Management)

Responsibilities:   

  • Customer service, attention to detail, and a desire/ability to learn new skills are critical characteristics of this position.  Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate are also crucial for a successful member of the IT team. Team-work is a pillar of the Global IT team and participation on the enterprise level is encouraged and individually.
  • Work closely with business teams to analyze business processes in order to create cross functional process improvements and with the help of technical staff implement solution
  • Project Management outsourced partner resources
  • Maintain, improve, and develop interfaces
  • Assist with designing and implementing application road map
  • Drawing up specific proposals for system and business process enhancements and able to communicate proposed changes to business teams
  • Create training documentation for end users and lead training sessions
  • Develop test plans and lead User Acceptance testing sessions
  • Help foster a community of continuous improvement    
Qualifications:     
  • 7+ years of experience supporting HR systems either in HR or IT
  • 2+ years of experience configuring Workday HCM with an expertise in at least 2 of the following areas: talent, benefits, absence management, reporting or security.
  • Experience with at least one Workday implementation
  • Experience with Oracle ERP 
  • Advanced Project Management skills
  • Experience integrating Workday with other cloud based systems
  • Strong SQL Knowledge
  • Experience supporting a global organization
  • Strong knowledge of back office processes
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies
  • Experience with business process design and implementation
  • Ability to develop test scripts and execute effective test plans and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build strong business relationships
  • Self-motivated person who can take initiative and work with a small team
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related degree is required.
